TESTIMONIOS

In recent years evaluations from my managers always highlighted the same improvement area for me: "communication". Being a professional with a technical background I had never considered that as something I needed to progress in my career, however decided to give it a try.
During my participation in an executive program on business and data, Laila held one of the sessions related to storytelling. That day started with an interesting question: Do you communicate, or do you speak?.. driving us through many different topics ending up with a curious exercise dealing with an apple and.. (oups!!.. no spoilers here). That happened to be one of the most interesting and best valued sessions of the whole program and showcased what a good professional Laila was.
To be honest, at the beginning I was not sure of about the PAIC program. I had a strange feeling about the contents and the same idea popped up in my mind persistently: "What the **** I'm doing here? What all these exercises has to do with communication?". Nevertheless, I decided to trust Laila and keep on doing the work, even if not fully understanding the final goal. Suddenly, something clicked into my mind, like switching on the light in a dark room, and I was able to see the links between those exercises, questions, all the conversations with Laila, etc. and how they were deeply interwoven with some of the deepest traits of my personality, influencing directly my communication at both, professional and personal level. Since then, every session has been a joy, with laughs, interesting conversations, and even a nice walk during the last session live in Madrid.
I have no other words than" Thank you" to Laila for her impressive work, guiding me through the whole process, and her patience with a "square minded" guy like me. I know that this is just the beginning; "never stop learning", but, with such an excellent first step, I'm confident in the rest to the way being an enriching and pleasant experience.
Unfortunately, there are no magic pills to make progress. If you are willing to make the effort with Laila's guidance you will achieve great results and, what's more, you will enjoy yourself along the way.
